1. Pinot Gris 2010 Reserve $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $29.00

The nose shows spice, white pepper, poached pears and quince with some smokiness and a lift of citrus zest. The palate is weighty yet elegant. It has a round softness to it that is complemented with great texture and length.

Michael Cooper MW: Full-bodied and fresh, single-vineyard wine with good concentration of peachy, slightly gingery and spicy flavours, with a hint of apricot. Slightly oily texture, with a dryish, spicy finish. Drink now or cellar.

2. Pinot Gris 2010 Cellar Selection $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $32.00

The nose shows toast, spice and creaminess. The palate is robust showing ripe pears, apples and figs and a persistent mineral backbone with long lasting mouthfeel.

Michael Cooper MW: Fleshy and rounded, with good complexity. Mouthfilling body, with fresh, peachy, spicy, vaguely toasty flavours, showing excellent depth, in a slightly chardonnay-like style with a dryish finish.

3. Pinot Gris Rosé 2010 $240.00 $20.00 $120.00 $20.00 $22.00

This year we tried something different with the winemaking on our Rosé and introduced a percentage of barrel fermentation. This result is a wine that is pale salmon in colour. The nose shows apple, pear and spice. The palate has a fullness and richness with a gentle hint of oak. This is a fuller bodied style of Rosé and would love to attend summer picnics accompanied by quiche or onion tart and would sit well beside many smoke salmon dishes.

Michael Cooper MW: This ‘Pinot’ rosé is made from pinot gris, rather than the more customary pinot noir. Pale pink/orange, with a touch of barrel-ferment complexity, it is full-bodied, peachy and spicy, with good depth and a dryish finish. A good ‘food’ wine, it shows plenty of personality.

4. Gewürztraminer 2010 Reserve $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $28.00

The 2010 Gewürztraminer shows melon, lychee and spice characters on the nose and also a touch of savoury like cured charcuterie. The palate is slightly off dry with great body and weight, and exhibits great extract. This wine would go wonderfully well with creamy or stronger cheeses, also onion tart/quiche or fried calamari. Excellent wine match with all Asian or Indian foods.

Michael Cooper MW: Still very youthful. Weighty, slightly sweet style with fresh, delicate pear and lychee flavours, slightly limey and citrusy. It should unfold well; open 2012+.

5. Pinot Gris 2009 Reserve $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $29.00

Aromas from the pure fruit derived characters showing pears, quince and some florals. The palate has excellent extract with characters of apples and pears with a hint of spice together providing great weight and softness, this combination giving a beautiful broad and mouth filling experience.

Michael Cooper MW: This mouthfilling, creamy-textured wine has excellent depth of stonefruit and pear flavours with a slightly gingery, distinctly spicy finish.

6. Pinot Gris 2009 Cellar Selection $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $30.00

A small portion of our oak aged 2007 was blended to give lasting length to the finish. The wine shows aromas of pears and quince with a hint of toasted coconut, whilst the palate offers ripe tropical flavours showing pears and delightful spice, excellent extract and a lasting and rich mouthfeel.

Michael Cooper MW: This highly impressive wine is beautifully perfumed with ripe pear and lychee aromas showing excellent varietal definition, it is a weighty Alsace style of pinot gris with deep, yet delicate flavours and a gently spicy, softly textured finish.

7. Pinot Gris 2009 Single Vineyard $240.00 $20.00 $29.00

Spices, pear, and stonefruit with a subtle floral lift and smooth palate displays classical Pinot Gris varietal structure. Medium dry weight with a fresh lingering finsh. A great aperitif and ideal partner for a wide range of foods. Cellar for 2-5 years or drink now.

Michael Cooper MW: Easy drinking style, full-bodied with very good depth of stonefruit and pear flavours, a hint of ginger and a fresh distinctly spicy smooth finish.

8. Sweet Sixteen 2009 Late Harvest $360.00 $30.00 $180.00 $30.00 $35.00

16 Selected rows of our Pinot Gris were left on the vine in 2009 to produce our very first "Sticky" wine. The grapes were hand harvested on the 13th of July and cool fermented to produce a wine with a bouquet of pear drops, quince and some spice. The palate is intense and carries enough acid and extract to prevent the wine from being cloy. Enjoy with dessert or a selection of cheeses.

Michael Cooper MW: This has a scented bouquet of stonefruit and honey, leading into a soft, sweet palate with peach, spice, apricot and honey flavours. Rich and rounded. Already delicious.

9. Pinot Gris 2008 Reserve $240.00 $20.00 $150.00 $25.00 $29.00

Aromas of apricot, pear and quince predominate with some nutty smoky characters. The palate shows focused, varietal ripe stone fruit with great weight and softness. This year with the aim of maintaining the balance of the finished wine, we have chosen to stop the fermentation process a little earlier to retain a slightly higher residual sugar.

Michael Cooper MW: Attractively scented with mouthfilling body and very good depth of slightly sweet, pear and spice flavours. Fresh and softly textured with an easy-drinking charm.

10. Trésor Rouge Reserve $600.00 $50.00 $360.00 $60.00 $65.00

Fastidious viticulture on our ‘over the bridge’ sheltered small block resulted in excellent high quality grape growth. The fruit was selectively hand harvested, sorted then gently crushed and pressed. A blend of our Syrah, Merlot, Malbec and Pinot Noir. A light to medium bodied red. The nose has florals and spice. The palate shows spice, red fruits and currants with balanced acidity and grainy tannins. Our ‘little treasure’ only one barrel (300 bottles) produced annually.

Michael Cooper MW: Full but not dense colour with fresh plum and spice flavours in a middleweight style with very good depth and some complexity.
