Winemaker's Tasting Notes

Ripe fruit was hand harvested, destemed at the winery, gently crushed and pressed. The resulting juice was fermented cool to retain the varietal character prior to blending and bottling. The nose shows typical varietal characters of roses, lychee, lavender and a touch of spice. These characters follow through to the palate which is broad, soft creamy, lychee and spice almost oily dry texture that displays a good persistence and slightly savoury luscious finish.
